Dow Opens Higher as It Bids to Snap Longest Losing Streak Since 1978

The Dow Jones Industrial Average opened higher on Wednesday ahead of the Federal Reserve’s interest-rate decision. The blue-chip index is looking to snap its longest losing streak since 1978. The Dow was up 88 points, or 0.2%.
