Stocks Head Higher in Afternoon Trading

The S&P 500 perked up a bit after Wall Street reacted to minutes from the Federal Reserve's latest meeting. The Nasdaq Composite was up 0.2%. The Dow was up 20 points, which erased an earlier decline.
